My wife and I prepare a lot of Blue Apron meals, and this is just what we needed to save our knuckles from all of the carrot shredding on a box grater. Sliced hard salami, brussels, potatoes (fries), and cabbage (for slaw) was easily handled by this mandolin. It took a try or two to get the configuration of the blades just right,and it seemed complicated at first, but just turn the dials while watching the blades and you can easily figure out what setting is needed.
Overall, it's cut down our meal prep time significantly and is one of those tools you didn't even know you needed in the kitchen.

I love this product. It is super easy to use and clean and it gets the job done quickly. I use it all the time and have no worries about my fingers. They never get anywhere near the blade.
I bought this for myself as the Mandoline that my hubby uses is hard to open and I have sliced a bit of my finger off while slicing potatoes. Ugh! I don't want to go into toooo much detail, but suffice it to say it was not fun hunting for a slice of finger amongst the potatoes.....Obviously I don't use his old-fashioned Mandoline anymore.

Since slicing my knuckles on my first mandoline, I have always been a little hesitant to use one again. So when a friend shared this with me I thought I would give it a go!
Setup: super easy to set up, just extent the legs out till it clicks into place, add the catcher, place the chute on and unlock the pump thing by pressing down slightly and rotating it.
Usage: you have several options as explained in the manual but there are only 3 adjustment dials which makes it super easy. No need to store all different blades etc. It's all built in. So make your adjustment, throw whatever you want to cut up and start pumping.
Clean up: You get a brush with it and all you need is to run it under the tap and use the brush to get into the hard to reach spots. Took about a 40 seconds to clean it after I used it.
Overall: freaking awesome. I love all the different thicknesses you can do at turn of a simple dial. Great for meal prepping, fries, salads, onions, potatoes and I can only imagine what else..

I’ve owned a couple of mandilones. This one appealed to me because of the safety features. I had an accident with another style which left me weary of using it. This exceeded my expectations. The precision of cutting extremely thin slices is impressive in comparison to any other gadget I own (I have them all). I included a picture of the different widths I was able to achieve. There are more, but I didn’t show them. It is Easy to clean, store and set up. I rarely leave reviews, but I’m so impressed with this product that I had to do one. I haven’t used the Juliene feature yet, but I’m sure it will impress me just as much.

I received my slicer yesterday and was very excited to try it. We eat lots of vegetables In our house and I always have a summer garden. So today I processed onions, carrots,jalapeños , zucchini, yellow squash, bell peppers and sweet potatoes. Overall I’m pretty impressed with this product.
It does take a little practice to get used to balancing the pressure of pushing the vegetable along with pushing the chopper handle, as I was chopping I made a mess around the container that catches the vegetables until I got the hang of not letting the chopper bounce back freely. I do feel even with my first time using I was able to process all those vegetables much faster and easier than having chopped them by hand.
This product is definitely worth the price I paid for it.

Amazing slicing tool for any cook. Slicing is fast, uniform, easy to set up and clean up. I am very impressed with this mandoline slicer. I currently have a different mandoline but I need to glove up to use it and I need a large working surface to be covered to catch slices therefore I use it reluctantly. This is definitely an upgrade replacement I have been using in my cooking daily if not several times a day due to ease of operation. Definitely recommend.

Ok probably one of the best things I have ever bought!! I have come close to losing the tips off two fingers at different times using the traditional mandolin slicers. Last time was really bad!! I was using the guard but for some reason it got stuck and flipped levin my fingers exposed while slicing down. I had enough and was saying I was going back to using a knife to cut potatoes(which I do a LOT) even if it does take forever.. THEN I found this slicer and let me tell you it is AWESOME!!! I had been looking at it for awhile hoping it would come on sale but after the last incident I ordered it. My husband is tired of me saying how great this slicer is but was really happy to say NO MORE GETTING HURT!!! It is so fast my husband even had to check it out and said What took so long to find this? Please buy you will NOT be disappointed. Received product quickly and in excellent shape.

OMG! THIS IS THE ANSWER I WAS LOOKING FOR, it cuts nice and clean, it has different settings, is quick, even with some of the prep needed to fit veggies on the gravity fed, is way faster and easier than slice, mince, or dice every piece. Unless you are an experienced chef with those fast skills to chop veggies, you won't get results this much faster and effortless, and honestly those food processors are better for salsas but not to chop and dice in little cubes. I've tried all.
The best of all? No more accidents my hands are safe. In addition, cleanning is a breeze, it comes with a nice brush that has long bristles to reach those corners where veggie pieces may deposit, they though on everything, is really well designated. I love this gadget, it works perfectly for my needs. I totally recommend it.

I liked this Mandolin Slicer a lot, It is easy to use and to change slicing options. Clean up was extremely simple. I was a bit skeptical about the suction cups holding the slicer steady on the counter while in use, but it stayed steady the entire time I was slicing sweet potatoes. All in all I would highly recommend this product.

As a wanna-be-chef who watches every cooking competition out there, I've always wanted my own mandolin. I was always scared to get one because they seem dangerous and I don't want to cut my fingers. So when I saw this I figured it was the best of both worlds. It seriously is so convenient and saves so much time prepping for meals. I am so eager for my next dinner party because I won't be stuck in the kitchen chopping most of the night and can actually enjoy my company!
The only thing I do not care for is the opening is a bit small for some items. Beets and big potatoes for example I have a hard time getting them through on their thickest sections. Only reason I took 1 star off.
Otherwise this product is amazing and I am pretty much on my way to becoming a Chopped Champion.

I bought this because I have problems cutting uncooked sweet potatoes. This makes it so easy that I've been looking for excuses to cut stuff up in it. There is literally no way I can accidentally cut myself unless I just stick my finger in there on purpose, maybe I just don't know what the safety flaws are because I haven't accidentally seen it yet but right now this feels like the safest option i've had in years with arthritic and fibromyalgia disabled hands. It folds up nice and flat an d doesn't take up much room in the drawer i put it in.
Thank you for making this, I've had issues using knives for years because my hands don't do what I tell them sometimes and drop things even more frequently. I wish I would have ordered this years ago.
Overall this is one of the best things I've bought for my kitchen in years and was worth every penny. I definitely recommend it, especially if you have strength or grip issues in your hands. This thing will make you not dread cooking again.

This item is amazing for both it’s safety features and ease of use. I am a bit of a kitchen klutz and feel completely at ease and fearless with this device. Pictured are the delicious homemade potato chips I sliced with my PrepPerfect and cooked in my airfryer. The tasted just like the ones i get from my favorite Portuguese restaurant but i’m Hoping they are much healthier. I honestly think this is a must have for all at home chefs.

There is a learning curve with this little device. Some YouTube promo videos help you figure out some of the slicer settings better than the book that comes with.Once you do some basic prep, you can chop through a huge amount of food in no time. Some items, like apples and onions, need to be broken down to fit in the opening, but everything’s smooth sailing after that. After a little prep, I had my stepson chop through a few pounds of apples for pies- it took him about 5 minutes and he had fun doing it!If you’re chopping up one little mushroom, this chopper will feel like overkill. When you do any bulk veggie chops, it’s a life saver. Making a soup, chili, stir fry, or prepping a meal for my lizard friends, it’s a few chops and done. No more long, painful prep time spent in cutting down vegetables (or cutting my arthritic hands)!The best part is that I am breaking down veggies in bulk almost every day now because it’s so easy, so I am eating and cooking more veggies as a result- the lizards aren’t the only ones snacking on the tiny-dice bell peppers ;)Cleaning is a little bit of a pain. The easiest way I have found so far is to soak it in some warm soapy water for a while. After that, food comes out pretty easy with some faucet water or the pressure hose. You have to work back to front and sometimes turn it upside down, but almost everything will slide out. The handle of the cleaning tool can then be used to push the last bits out.

I have used this a couple of times and it worked well when I figured out what I was doing. I would probably use it more often if I was more comfortable with it. There are basically three controls - one dial for thickness and two knobs to select the type of cut. I find the instructions confusing. In the instruction booklet, the knobs are referred to as knob 1 and knob 2, but on the appliance itself there is no identification of the knobs. The knobs appear in the instruction manual on page 9, but there is no explanation. "Rotate the knob 360 degrees" - OK, I know what 360 degrees means, but there could be some indication when you've reached 360 degrees and which knob is which! I have also searched out some videos on the Safe Slice Mandoline, but the instructions there are not much better.

This is such a great invention! I've started cooking a lot more vegetables in our meals and this makes it so much easier to chop any veggie I need for dinner without worrying about cutting my fingers. Easy to clean too.

I have been a serious down home cook for over 25 years and am also a gardener. I use this product regularly to slice veggies for potato dishes, sheet pan dinners, and soups. Dishes cook so much better with evenly sized veggies. I particularly love this thing for scalloped potatoes and slicing squash and sweet potatoes. It’s also great for slicing cabbage to make slaws. I used it all summer to slice cucumbers for pickle making and also to slice jalapeños to put in the dehydrator. The more you use it, the better you will get at loading it to get the result you want. However, I find it to be a great time saver, especially because it cleans up with a dish brush in a snap. Because of it’s safe design, you can also work really fast without worrying about slicing your finger off in a traditional mandolin. The suckered feet make for a stable base. It doesn’t take up much room, and I slip the slicer and components back in the box to store in a drawer. I have used the crap out of it for the past 5 months with no problems. Hope it lasts a long time! Highly recommend this for serious cooks!
